You will move, store, load and unload materials by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment. Assemble containers, crates and boxes, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions. Loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances and unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas. Ensure raw material is supplied timely as required to appropriate melting furnaces and provide assistance in relocating materials and work in process between work stations as required. Ensure products are packed and shipped in accordance with requirements as outlined on the Packaging and Shipping Instructions and ensure shipping documents are prepared correctly and directed to the appropriate area for storage and retention. Identify and report any problems relating to the product, process and quality management system. Previous experience with forklift operation required.
