About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented junior level IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join our high-performing IT team. Known for delivering exceptional service and trusted across all levels of the organizationincluding senior leadershipour IT team plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and secure day-to-day operations across the company.

This entry-level position is ideal for an individual who demonstrates strong technical aptitude, a proactive mindset, and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding internal customer service. You will serve as the first point of contact for technical support, contributing to the teams reputation for excellence, responsiveness, and professionalism.

In addition to the duties typically expected of a junior level IT professional, you will be responsible for:

Technical Support:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, providing prompt and professional assistance to internal users across all departments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues, escalating more complex matters as appropriate.
  • Ensure timely and accurate logging, tracking, and resolution of support tickets in accordance with team service standards.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with users throughout the support process.

User Onboarding & Equipment Setup:

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning of user accounts, configuring laptops and mobile devices, and managing access to systems and tools.
  • Ensure all equipment is configured according to company standards and ready for deployment in a timely manner.

Systems Maintenance & Documentation:

  • Perform routine maintenance and software updates on user devices in coordination with senior IT staff.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base documentation to support ongoing service improvements.

The IT environment you'll support includes:

  • Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
  • Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Network-connected printers and scanners.
  • Corporate-managed iPhones and mobile devices, tablets, and iPads

Qualifications & Attributes

  • 12 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role, or relevant technical training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a calm and courteous approach under pressure.
  • Foundational knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
  • A proactive, service-minded attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
