Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major construction projects ranging from $15M to $50M+ billed annually. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position and is passionate about delivering high-quality, large-scale projects on time, within budget, and to exacting standards. You will be the main point of accountability from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring stakeholder alignment, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout
Manage large-scale infrastructure projects with $1M+ in monthly billings or 1M+ total manhours
Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract specifications, and quality benchmarks
Coordinate with Superintendents, Coordinators, Safety, and site staff through daily check-ins
Act as the main point of contact with the client — maintaining communication, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Hold regular meetings with subcontractors to review progress, risks, and schedule
Oversee change orders, project risks, and ensure systems and equipment are commissioned appropriately
Review and implement construction strategies developed with preconstruction teams
Ensure Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) are followed and maintained
Manage direct reports including Project Coordinators, Assistant PMs, and administrative staff
Provide leadership, coaching, and clear performance expectations for all project team members
Support procurement, contract negotiation, and project forecasting processes
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
5–7+ years of experience managing complex ICI or infrastructure projects (ideally $15M+ in value)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and/or Navisworks
Familiarity with estimating tools such as InEight, PlanSwift, AGTEK is an asset
P.Eng. or Gold Seal Certification is considered an asset
Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills
