Position Summary:The Project Manager will oversee all phases of glass and glazing projects, from initial planning through execution to final completion. This includes managing client relationships, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple glass and glazing projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with architects, general contractors, suppliers, and installation crews.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues.
- Manage material procurement, delivery timelines, and quality control.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
- Resolve project-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the glazing, construction, or building envelope industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial glazing systems, curtain walls, and aluminum framing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software is an asset.
- PMP certification is an asset but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
