Main Tasks:

  • Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation and delivery of goods, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with transport companies, suppliers, and customers
  • Manage all outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to the intended destination
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, regulations, and safety practices Monitor and manage inventory levels, in shipping ie: packaging ensuring that stock levels are sufficient to meet demand
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as customs declarations, bills of lading, and shipping manifests, are accurate and complete
  • Assist in the negotiation of transportation rates and other logistics-related agreements Resolve any transportation or logistics-related issues that arise, working with internal and external stakeholders to find rapid and appropriate solutions
  • Responsible for managing logistics of our DEMO fleet
  • Picking and packing all outgoing orders
  • Assist the Logistics Specialist and cover for vacation time

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics
  • Proficient knowledge of transportation laws and regulations, including those related to international shipments and customs declarations
  • Familiar with shipping Ocean Freight
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of people
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality and excellence in all work performed

  • Strong knowledge of transportation laws and regulations, including those related to international shipments and customs declarations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Epicor experience is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality and excellence in all work performed
  • Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
