- Location: Training will take place in our Warehouse/Roastery at 11322 119 ST NW, Edmonton.
- Optional hybrid work-from-home schedule after training is complete.
- Hours: 4–5 days (30–40 hours/week)
- Compensation: Starting at $22/hour depending upon past work-experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer questions regarding general inquiries, orders, tracking, delivery timelines, and shipment issues.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and logistic claims processes.
- Liaise with equipment distributors and select manufacturers to assist with warranty requests and product issues.
- Prepare shipping documentation as needed.
- Enter and manage order and product information across various shipping software platforms (e.g. experience with Clickship, Shippo, Shopify is an asset, but not necessary).
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery delays or customer concerns.
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills - able to navigate customer needs and internal priorities with empathy and clarity.
- Ability to sit and/or work on a computer for extended periods.
- Critical thinking and a built-in desire to identify root causes and create long-term solutions.
- A deeply ingrained bias towards action and desire to assume responsibility to make decisions that lead to positive results.
Assets
- Previous customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working with tech stacks and integrations (e.g., CRM tools, inventory systems, API-based workflows).
- Experience in research and data management (e.g., tracking, reporting, maintaining detailed records).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of or interest in specialty coffee — we're happy to train someone who's curious and eager to learn.
