Are you passionate about public safety and customer service? Paladin Security is looking for professional, dependable, and proactive Security Guards to join our team in Lethbridge. You'll be deployed to various retail sites to help keep environments safe and welcoming for customers, clients, and staff.

Pay: $18.00–$19.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• De-escalate crisis situations, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire and paramedic resources
• Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
• Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability and day to day reports
• Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
• Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
• Handle Lost & Found items and inquires

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Valid Alberta Security License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and climb stairs
• Able to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
• Not planning to return to school in the next 6 months

Nice-to-Haves:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Unrestricted)
