A prestigious Multinational Logistics Distribution Company is looking for Temporary (2 days) workers to set up a new warehouse in Ottawa, ON

• 2 days assignment: Friday June 13 and Monday June 16
• Schedule: 10 AM - 6 PM
• Payrate: $18.50 per hr

DUTIES:

• There are different types of jobs and teams are assembled within the project to:6Measuring and marking floor with high resistivity industrial tape. Requires work in a crouched position:
  • Assemble shelves, 7' high racks, metal carts, wooden tables with metal ties. Some force is required to lift the pieces into place
  • Installation of sticker-type signs, banners that require measurement, accuracy, aesthetics and height work with ladder or scissor lift.
  • Placement of items in modules according to instructions and specification

Requirements

• Performing work in compliance with safety procedures
• Know how to use tools (screwdriver, screw drill, utility knives, etc.)
• Working at Heights Certificate
• Must wear PPE (helmet, vest, 6” safety boots, gloves with a classification of 4 (rubber is resistant to a certain degree of cuts) and safety transparent glasses
• Team player, able to cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Able to follow instructions and perform different general labor duties as assigned
• Must be committed to remaining at the job for the duration of the project
• Dynamic, responsible, reliable, who can keep up a good attendance
• Must meet the daily production quota
• Constantly bending
