DescriptionHey, we're Article. You might have known us as an online-only furniture company. Well this changed as we've recently opened our first store. As a Home Expert Associate, you're the face of Article to our customers, making every in-store customer interaction a delightful one.
Availability:
Our store is open 7 days a week, 10:00 am -6:00 pm PST. (30 minutes prior and post shift for open and close)
As a casual employee, you must be available at least five days per week, including mandatory availability on three weekdays in addition to both Saturday and Sunday (this does not mean you will be scheduled, but you need to be available). While you may be scheduled for just one weekend day, there may be instances where both Saturday and Sunday are required. Work schedules will be provided at least two weeks in advance, with specific start times varying within a specified range.
We require individuals with flexible availability. The shifts you will be assigned to will typically be between the following hours:
9am - 7pm PST.

As a casual employee:

• To start, you'll work closer to 5 shifts per week (for training). The number of shifts may fluctuate between 3 and 5 in the next few months based on customer volume
• More shifts are available based on your availability and the demands of the business
• $24 per hour + 4% vacation pay
• 25% discount on all Article furniture

• Previous retail experience - ideally considered purchase retail - where the customer often will time to research, compare options, and deliberate before buying because of long-term use, or emotional significance.
• You have a customer-obsessed attitude and build genuine connections to help
  create life-long Article customers
• Actively engage customers and assist with product selections and process all
  customer orders
• You love solving problems
• You're looking for a flexible schedule which allows you the freedom you need in your life
• You're tech-savvy, and you can quickly shift between multiple software applications.
• Able and willing to move products and objects weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Legally able to work Canada without any restrictions on hours -sorry no student VISAs.
• Completion of criminal background check

Bonus points if:

• You have experience/ education in Interior Design or past Home Furnishing retail experience
