Position Overview:Ottawa, ON Based

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Associate Product Manager to support the development of marketing and product initiatives for our diagnostic portfolio. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is passionate about healthcare innovation. You will work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and our development teams to create compelling messaging, educational content, and drive product improvements, aimed at building better customer engagement and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop impactful marketing materials that support both customer acquisition and retention.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including educational webinars, print media, and live events.
  • Develop and manage educational webinars, partnering with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and driving attendance through effective promotion.
  • Stay current on scientific literature to ensure accurate and effective product positioning and development.
  • Ensure all developed materials comply with Genomadixs quality system and brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate Genomadixs participation in trade shows, conferences, and webinars, managing logistics and marketing assets.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align marketing activities with broader business goals.
  • Support the full product development lifecycle from concept through launch, including user needs assessment, feature definition, and post-market analysis.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify product opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Help gather customer and stakeholder feedback to guide product improvements and roadmap planning.
  • Assist in the development of product documentation including user manuals, training materials, and technical specifications.
  • Support cross-functional go-to-market initiatives, ensuring alignment between product capabilities and commercial strategy.
  • Track and analyze product performance metrics to identify trends and areas for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field (Masters Degree is an asset).
  • 3-5 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for creating engaging content.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and content management tools.
  • Ability to leverage data to drive marketing strategy and decisions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and customer segmentation in the healthcare space.
  • Experience developing educational content such as webinars or videos.
  • Knowledge of current trends in precision medicine and diagnostics.
  • Graphic design or content creation experience (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
