Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experience Senior Product Manager to join our growing global team at Sectigo.
The Senior Product Manager will manage the roadmap for our retail e-commerce business. This Senior Product Manager must be capable of partnering with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Sales, UX Design, Engineering, and Operations. This role requires experience with SaaS and cybersecurity solutions. We're looking for a talent product professional who is passionate about tackling challenging problems and developing innovative products.
This is a full-time role working in a hybrid model (3 days in office) based out of our Ottawa office, reporting to our Director, Product Management.
Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
- Achieve revenue and market share targets defined in financial plans for a product area.
- Manage the product roadmap and ensure it aligns with the overall company strategy.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Stay current with industry and market trends and the competitive landscape.
- Serve as the product subject matter expert, supporting Product Marketing, Sales, and Support.
- Analyze the market and engage with customers to identify opportunities to evolve the product offering and innovate in support of business growth and retention goals.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic, data-driven decision-making.
- Define product pricing and positioning to maximize sales and revenue opportunities.
- Gather requirements by partnering with key business stakeholders including sales team and effectively communicate product requirements to the engineering teams.
- Define solution value propositions and collaborate with product marketing to develop white papers, brochures, social media, web pages, online events and more.
- Other duties as assigned and related to the nature of this role and company initiatives.
- Travel as needed to visit customers and attend tradeshows
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is strongly recommended.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product management of cybersecurity and SaaS solutions is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing e-commerce products is required.
- A strong understanding of Agile development principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
