Reconciliation Specialist

A.S.P. is looking for a Reconciliation Specialist who will manage all aspects of accounts payable, Pay discrepancies, schedule auditing and any needs to support operations to run smoothly. A successful candidate will be required to work with integrity, respect, and take responsibility to maintain confidentiality.

What you will do:

  • Assisting with day to day operations of payroll functions and duties.
  • Ensuring All time sheets are received and processed on a timely manner.
  • Verifying and reconciling employee hours on Workforce Management tool/software.
  • Calculating proper hours from Workforce Management tool/software to Excel to Sage 300.
  • Resolving pay rate errors after transferring data from Workforce Management tool/software.
  • Maintains records and prepares and delivers reports to Resource Planning Management and Operations Management teams relative to actual or projected resource utilization, KPI's such as Attendance, Overtime, Open shifts, Excess OT, etc.
  • Coordinating, Filing and implementing with the Scheduling department to pay discrepancies.
  • Coordinating follow up for all ADHOC call ups with Operations on a weekly basis
  • Other accounting and resource planning tasks as needed

Who you are:

  • Auditing, Reconciliation and accounting experience an asset
  • Accounting/Financial education an asset
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills mandatory
  • Computer literacy is required, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, MS Outlook email, Sage 300, Workforce Management software with proficient typing skills.
  • Scheduling software experience an asset
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle difficult callers, stressful situations, and multiple tasks in a professional, positive, and constructive manner.
  • Is process-oriented and has a strong bias to action.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
