The Opportunity

Select Fluid Power is looking for a Shipper/Receiver & Truck Driver to join our team in Surrey, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up products for our customers along your designated route. In addition, you'll be tasked with shipping and receiving materials and parts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Shipper/Receiver & Truck Driver your key responsibilities will include:?

• Painting and packaging hydraulic cylinders

• Shipping and receiving hydraulic cylinders, rods, and parts

• Picking up and delivering parts to customers locally and in Washington

• Operating a forklift, pallet jack, and overhead cranes

• Ensuring accuracy of shipping documentation

• Maintaining accurate driving logs

• Maintaining a clean and organized shop

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:?

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and valid passport required

• Ability to cross US border

• Comfortable driving a 25-foot flat deck truck

• Ability and willingness to use overhead cranes and forklifts (training provided); forklift license is considered an asset

• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed on travel days (two days per week)

The base pay range for this role is: $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.?
