Paladin Security is hiring experienced Mobile Security Officers to join our elite Tactical Mobile Team. Based out of Surrey, this high-impact role serves across the Lower Mainland and Metro Vancouver, responding to alarms, protecting property, and de-escalating security incidents with professionalism and authority.

Full-Time | On-Site | $25.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of client facilities; provide access control as needed
- Respond to alarms, accident calls, and emergencies at client facilities within designated time frames
- Escalate and report issues to the Security Command Centre in a timely manner
- Dispatch and work with first responders (police/fire/ambulance)
- Write thorough, detailed incident reports for security incidents or damaged properties that occur during shift
- Build rapport with surrounding businesses to heighten the level of security
- Provide preliminary technical analysis to help troubleshoot security systems
- Maintain a good rapport with all Paladin employees and client staff
- Use discretion when handling confidential information
- Handle all incidents in a professional and calm demeanor
- Other duties as required to meet operational demands
Requirements
- Valid BC Security License
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and a clean driving abstract
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the security industry
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Availability for full-time, 12-hour overnight shifts, on a 4-day rotational schedule
- Physically able to patrol up to 20 km per shift, including stairs, outdoors, and over uneven terrain
- Comfortable undergoing a criminal record check, including fingerprinting if required
- Comfortable driving a company vehicle throughout the Lower Mainland during shift
- Able to provide 3 professional references (managers/supervisors from previous jobs)
- First Aid certification – OFA 1 or OFA 2
- Completed Advanced Security Training (AST)
- Experience working with port clearance sites or other high-security environments
- Experience with alarm response, evictions, and conflict de-escalation
- Prior experience making decisions under pressure
- Background in Criminology, Law Enforcement, or related field
