About the job

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a privately owned company situated in South West Edmonton. This is a full-time permanent onsite role.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full-cycle accounting: A/R, A/P, payroll, expense reports
  • Perform monthly reconciliations & financial reporting
  • Manage cash flow, EFTs, wire transfers, credit lines & loans
  • Prepare and file government remittances (GST/HST/PST, T4, WCB, CBSA, CARM)
  • Set up credit applications, terms & limits
  • Maintain organized financial records & filing systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or diploma in Business Administration - Management is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Hindi or Punjabi languages is an asset.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail
  • Practical experience in bookkeeping.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and open to learning and improving skills.
