This role reports to the Accounting Manager at a local head office and is part of a solid-sized accounting team within a very successful mid-sized company with operations across Canada.

You'll help out with more complex month-end stuff like JV and partnership accounting, budgeting and reforecasting, and work closely with project managers on revenue recognition and WIP. Plus, there are lots of interesting projects to jump into.

The team is big on using tech to make things easier—they've rolled out some seriously cool software. If you're curious about tech, open to trying new tools like AI, and not afraid to challenge the status quo (and maybe the Director of Finance too ????), you'll fit right in. There are tons to learn here—the sky's the limit!

TMGVC

• Canadian CPA designation
• Articling within any size CPA firm, with a preference for some exposure to the construction industry, JV's, and First Nations, OR
• Relevant industry experience as a CPA within the Construction Industry or similar, preferably with exposure to partnering with First Nations
• Strong understanding of ASPE, with WIP and Revenue Recognition exposure a differentiator
• Comfortable with Excel and the use of technology in general
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit to try new things and continue learning
