Job Description

The Intermediate Accountant will drive best practices in accounting, financial reporting and compliance. The successful candidate will provide a variety of accounting functions, including preparing monthly financial statements, analysis and assisting in financial audits.

What you're responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of accounting records.
  • Performing monthly and year-end closing tasks.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Providing regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns in accordance with applicable tax legislation.
  • Collaborating with other departments to obtain necessary information and resolve accounting issues.
  • Handling audit requests by collaborating with external auditors, providing the necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Assisting with special financial projects as required.
Qualifications

To Join our team:

  • You have an Accounting Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • You have experience in performing account reconciliations and analysis.
  • You have strong communication skills both orally and written.
  • You are self-Motivated with the ability to multitask.
  • You have excellent Excel Skills.
  • You have strong attention to detail
