Successful independently owned Desjardins Insurance Agency is seeking a career-oriented professional to join their winning team for the role of Account Manager - Desjardins Agent Team Member. Responsibilities:

  • Selling home, auto, life and various other insurance products.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Meet monthly sales goals and any individual commitments.

Compensation: $45,000+ (no earnings cap)

Requirements:

  • Sales experience with a successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening.
  • Self-motivated with an attention to detail, goal oriented and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Organized, with the ability to be proactive in problem solving.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • General Level 1 insurance license (preferred/must be able to obtain)
  • Life & Health license (preferred/must be able to obtain)

This is a Full-time position in St Albert AB and is not a remote role. These positions are with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. This agents' employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
