About the Role:
We're looking for a highly experienced Esports Tournament Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and growth of competitive events under the NEST brand. This role is for industry veterans who have previously organized, run, and optimized esports tournaments (online or offline) and understand the unique logistics, pacing, and community engagement required.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute esports tournaments from scratch, including format, ruleset, and platform selection
Manage live event operations including scheduling, registration, seeding, and bracketing
Oversee tournament staff (casters, referees, moderators, tech support, etc.)
Ensure competitive integrity and player experience are top-tier
Coordinate with sponsors, partners, and media for promotions and coverage
Analyze post-event data and feedback to improve future tournaments
Support the community through direct communication and conflict resolution
Develop scalable systems and documentation for ongoing tournament series
Requirements:
2+ years experience running organized esports tournaments (online or LAN)
Deep knowledge of bracketing systems (e.g., double elimination, Swiss, round-robin)
Proficient with platforms like Battlefy, Challonge, Start.gg, Smash.gg, Toornament, etc.
Able to work independently and take full ownership of events
Exceptional problem-solving and logistics management skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Experience coordinating teams across time zones
Passion for competitive gaming and community-driven development
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with Discord server moderation or bot automation
Knowledge of multiple game titles (FPS, MOBA, Fighting Games, etc.)
Video production or broadcasting familiarity
Event sponsorship or monetization experience
