The Role

Were hiring an IT Infrastructure Architect who wants to build meaningful systems and see the real-world impact of their work. This isnt just a technical roleits a chance to shape how we operate as we grow across Canada and the US.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the architect behind efficient, reliable, and scalable infrastructureespecially someone who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You'll take the lead on initiatives, work closely with others across departments, and help design the IT foundation for the next stages of our evolution.

We dont do silos here. Youll be working hand-in-hand with software developers, hardware engineers, support teams, operations, and leadership. Were a team-first company, and were looking for someone who gets just as energized from helping others succeed as they do from building great systems.

What Youll Do

  • Evaluate and optimize our current on-prem IT infrastructure (hardware, storage, networking, servers) for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Champion open-source solutions while refining our technology stack to be lean, powerful, and cost-effective.
  • Design and implement automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and reduce the risk of manual error.
  • Enhance uptime and reliability with strategic monitoring, alerting, and incident management protocols.
  • Develop and test comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure were always ready.
  • Collaborate with departments to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions that solve real-world problems.
  • Plan for growth, designing IT infrastructure to scale across multiple international locations.
  • Take ownership of infrastructure projects from design to deliveryensuring clarity, quality, and progress every step of the way.

What You Bring

Technical Chops:

  • Deep experience with network infrastructure (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VLANs) and open-source tools like pfSense and Open vSwitch.
  • Proven expertise with Linux-centric server environments and virtualization platforms like Proxmox, KVM, and Docker.
  • Proficiency in managing Apache/Nginx web servers, monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus), and automation for deployment and ISO-compliant logging/reporting.
