Position: Licensed Automotive Technician

Jack McGee Chevrolet Buick GMC in Peterborough, Ontario is looking for a Licensed Automotive Technician (310S) to join our growing team!

As an essential member of our service department, you'll play a key role in delivering a best-in-class service experience. You'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
• Diagnose the source of malfunctions and complete necessary repairs
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional safety/service needs
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to explain diagnoses and work performed
• Perform road tests and final safety checks

What We're Looking For:

• Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving record
• ODP certification
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with GM vehicles or dealership service is an asset
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
