Roles and Responsibilities

• Iron and press clothing items such as suits, dresses, and pants
• Check for any damages or stains on clothing
• Remove lint, pins, and loose threads from clothing
• Check garment tags for instructions on how to press
• Set up pressing machine correctly and adjust settings to suit the garment
• Press seams, collars, and cuffs
• Use steamers and other pressing equipment to press clothing
• Ensure that clothing items meet quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of fabric types and finishes
• Ability to use a steam press and other pressing equipment
• Ability to understand and adhere to instruction
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
