We are hiring a Check-in/Check-Out Clerk to join our client's team in Brampton, ON Previous experience in a check in/out role within the Transportation/Logistics industry is required for this position. Shift: Afternoons, 3:00pm or 4:00pm start time, Monday-Friday Pay: $21.00-22.00/hour based on experience Responsibilities: - Logging drivers/brokers, ensuring they have all paperwork and completed BOLs - Discussing refused/undelivered freight with drivers and directing as to where freight should be placed - Sorting/filing driver/broker run sheets into Broker paysheet files for processing - Printing delivery receipts, cross-docks, BOLs, and packing slips - Zapping pros to delivery manifests and removing pros from storage/delivery manifests if required - Dealing with invalid pros - Cutting suffix probills in AS400 to ensure drivers have proper paperwork - Ensuring change of signature paperwork is signed by dock supervisor before driver leaves - Verifying delivery appointments booked - Billing/scanning when needed - Cubing uncubed BOLs - PODing - Linehaul manifesting when needed - Compiling/sending reports - Other duties as required Qualifications: - Previous administrative experience within the Transportation/Logistics industry - Experience with driver check-in - Experience with TruckMate - Microsoft Office experience - Excellent communication skills - Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Able to work independently - High attention to detail - Ability to multi-task - Experience with AS400 is an asset - Able to work full-time Apply today!
