About the Role
Reporting to the senior leadership team, the Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of the organization's financial functions. This includes overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls to support informed decision-making and organizational sustainability.
What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with department heads
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures
- Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering professional growth and efficiency

- A professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the non-profit or cultural sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
