What will I do?
The hours for this position are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
This position will execute all inventory related activities, including but not limited to:
- Complete accurate daily cycle counts
- Determine product placement based on product movement history and velocity.
- Execute profiling strategy towards continuous improvement.
- Analyze inventory reports and adjust as required.
- Manage new, obsolete, and Return-to-vendor products.
- Liaise with Demand Supply regarding product issues.
- Identify root causes and resolve inventory discrepancies.
What qualifications do I need?
- Grade 12 education. Post secondary certificate in Supply chain preferred
- 1-2 years Inventory Control experience in a multi-SKU environment
- Proficient with MS office applications - Outlook, Word, and Excel, with aptitude to learn new software/systems.
- Reliable, well organized, and an attention to detail
- Well-developed communication skills and a team player
- Able to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- PIT equipment and RF gun experience is valued, training available.
- Physically able to lift and move heavy stock items (up to 70lbs)
