We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Newmarket, ON from Monday-Saturday starting at 8:00am-5:00pm. As a labourer you will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work.

What you're responsible for:

• Safely operating forklifts and other equipment to move and organize materials
• Sorting, grading, and identifying according to company standards
• Loading and unloading trucks with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining the yard and warehouse layout to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Conducting daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Collaborating with supervisors, scale house, and logistics teams to meet daily operational goals
• Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies at all times

To join our team:

• You have 2+ years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or industrial operations environment
• You have experience handling scrap metals is a strong asset
• You have a forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• You have the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• You have strong organizational and communication skills
• You have a proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on safety and efficiency
