Job Title: Salon Business Consultant (Revenue-Based Contractor)

Location: Multiple Tress Lounge Locations
Reports To: Executive Leadership
Works With: Franchisees, Investors, Salon Teams, Brand Consultants (e.g., L'Oréal), and clientele

Position Overview:

Tress Lounge seeks a results-driven Salon Business Consultant to drive operational excellence, revenue optimization, and strategic growth across multiple salon locations. This performance-focused role requires a seasoned professional with proven experience in beauty or retail management who can deliver measurable results while maintaining the highest standards of client service and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive operational oversight and implement performance enhancement initiatives across assigned locations
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, establish revenue targets, and drive measurable team performance improvements
  • Optimize inventory management systems, maintain strategic stock levels, and maximize product turnover rates
  • Lead talent development initiatives including staff mentorship, team building, and strategic recruitment
  • Provide executive-level reporting and collaborate with Leadership on strategic business planning and market expansion
  • Maintain professional relationships with franchise owners, investors, and corporate brand partners
  • Support franchise development initiatives and execute seamless onboarding processes for new locations

Performance Expectations:

First Year Mandatory Quotas:

  • Achieve minimum 15% revenue growth across all assigned salon locations within 12 months
  • Maintain client retention rate of 85% or higher
  • Complete monthly operational assessments with 95% compliance rating
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews and strategic recommendations to Leadership
  • Meet or exceed established monthly revenue targets per location (targets set based on historical performance and market analysis)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated success in salon, retail, or multi-location management with quantifiable results
  • Proven track record in client service excellence, retail strategy implementation, and high-performance team leadership
  • Superior communication, analytical, and organizational capabilities
  • Professional availability for regular site visits and mandatory weekly virtual executive briefings
  • Commitment to performance-based compensation structure with accountability for measurable outcomes

Compensation Structure:

  • Revenue-based compensation (competitive percentage of net monthly revenue per assigned salon location)
  • Performance bonuses available for exceeding quota targets and exceptional team development milestones
  • Additional incentives for successful franchise expansion and client retention achievements

Contract Terms:

This position operates under a performance-based contractor agreement with mandatory quota fulfillment requirements during the initial 12-month period. Continued engagement beyond the first year will be evaluated based on achievement of established performance metrics and business growth objectives.
