About Us

Nanalysis is a leading manufacturer of benchtop NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) spectrometers. Our mission is to make advanced scientific instrumentation accessible and easy to use across a variety of industries and applications. As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking a strategic and proactive Distribution Channel Manager to strengthen and support our network of international sales partners.

About the Role

The Distribution Channel Manager will serve as the primary sales liaison for our global dealer network. This individual will support and hold our international distributors accountable to quarterly targets, working closely with them to develop and implement sales strategies tailored to their regions. This is a sales-focused role—not technical support—though close collaboration with our Applications Chemistry team will be key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise international dealers on sales strategy for benchtop NMR products and help position Nanalysis effectively in competitive situations.
  • Hold dealers accountable to their quarterly sales targets through regular performance tracking and follow-ups.
  • Lead and organize quarterly business reviews with each dealer to assess past performance and develop clear plans for the current quarter.
  • Maintain accurate and organized dealer sales records within the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Attend weekly internal sales meetings and speak to the status of dealer deals in your region.
  • Participate in biweekly internal dealer syncs to coordinate efforts across departments and regions.
  • Collaborate with the Applications Chemistry team, who will handle technical training and support; your focus will be on sales execution and commercial strategy.
  • Share relevant distributor pricing and margins with Sales Reps and collaborate with them for account-level coordination.
  • Negotiate transfer pricing, margins, and payment terms with dealers, in coordination with the Finance team.
  • Travel to strategic regions as needed for customer visits and trade events—expect increased travel once fully onboarded and independent.
  • Organize, import, and distribute incoming sales leads to third-party dealers.
  • Track and report relevant marketing metrics.
  • Log purchase orders into the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (e.g., Jira).
  • Communicate orders to Manufacturing and coordinate shipping logistics.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, channel management, or business development—ideally in scientific instrumentation or a similar technical field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage partner relationships and drive performance.
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to maintain account visibility and reporting discipline.
  • A global mindset—comfortable working across time zones and cultural contexts.
  • A collaborative approach: able to work closely with Sales Reps, Application Chemists, Finance, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and accountability—able to manage multiple dealer relationships concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as the role develops.
  • Experienced in doing international business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, organized, well-spoken, precise, and punctual.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

  • B.Sc. or higher in a Chemistry field.
  • Hands-on experience in chemistry and/or NMR laboratories is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Teams and/or SharePoint is an asset.
  • Intermediate proficiency or higher in French, German, and/or Spanish is an asset
