The Shipper and Receiver ships, receives and records the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from an establishment.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading goods from carriers and vendors
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and record damaged goods. Report shortages and damages to Parts Manager immediately
  • Pull and package orders, to ship out in assigned shipping methods
  • Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
  • Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
  • Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
  • Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
  • Verifies all packing slips with parts pulled to ensure product and quantities being shipped are correct
  • Pick-up and deliver parts as required
  • Assemble, check and ship returns
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2+ years warehouse experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract required
  • Forklift certified
  • Experience strapping loads for secure transport
  • Experience Driving a 5-ton truck is an asset
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities
  • Effective problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills

Compensation Rate

  • $22.52 - $24.77 per hour
  • Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
