Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing exceptional customer service and assisting in various sales-related activities. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sales and eager to contribute to business development efforts.
Duties
- Promote the company's petroleum machinery products and support sales goals
- Participate in international oil & gas exhibitions (e.g., OTC, ADIPEC), assist with event preparation and client engagement
- Conduct business meetings and pre-sales support with service companies, and end-users
- Assist customers with product selection, documentation, and technical communication
- Coordinate order processing, shipment, customs clearance, certification, and dangerous goods documentation (e.g., MSDS, COO)
- Track order status, delivery schedules, and international shipping to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain customer records and follow up on invoicing and payments
- Prepare sales materials, quotations, meeting minutes, and exhibition reports
- Provide bilingual technical translation and cross-cultural communication support
- Travel within Canada, China and USA as needed
- Perform other administrative and business support tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above; majors in International Trade, Mechanical Engineering, or Petroleum-related fields preferred
- Proficient in Chinese and English with strong verbal, written, and business communication skills
- Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and a good team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with oilfield equipment and terminology; experience in API product support or oil & gas industry is a plus
- Experience with international exhibitions and cross-cultural business preferred
