seeking an experienced and trustworthy Administrative Assistant for a part time position to join our growing team of
75+ mortgage brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, key in applications, prepare mail-outs to clients, data entry, etc.
- The successful candidate will be able to communicate with clients and co-workers in a professional, friendly, and
helpful manner via phone and email.
- Work with the head broker and underwriters to ensure all of the background work on files is done on an accurate
and timely basis. Be adaptive to changing work-flows on a daily basis.
- Uphold our reputation for excellence in customer service through clear communication and professionalism at all
times.
- Be open and willing to take direction from the head broker as needed from time to time.
- Be friendly to clients and industry partners while enduring the pressures that the mortgage business can bring.
- Fluent verbal and written English skills are a necessity for the job.
- Full working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe. Minimum 40WPM typing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset. Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving.
Compensation Details:
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday 8:30am – 12:30pm. We are closed for all statutory holidays.
- Hourly rate of pay is $21 to $25 per hour based on a 20 hour work week.
- Rate of pay will depend on experience and skills.
