This opportunity is located in Vancouver, BC.
As our Project Coordinator, Nurse Call, you will:
- Effectively carry out Plan Group's project coordination procedures from initial award of job to conclusion (Project schedule, change orders, as-built drawings, close out documents, etc.).
- Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure project implementation is executed in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining integrity of design and project schedule.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure feasibility and costing of projects according to budget.
- Frequently communicate the technical aspects and regular site activities of the project with relevant stakeholders' to effectively update and act on pertinent information.
- Interface with consulting engineers to review and provide recommendations regarding implementation of the design and reports.
- Adhere to and carry out all safety requirements by client, as well as follow all of Plan Groups safety guidelines.
- Contribute to technical proposals and coordinate with team members to effectively develop RFQ/RFP submissions and/or related tender documents on the pursuit of large transportation projects.
- Coordinate the implementation of technology systems including nurse call as part of the overall electrical and low-voltage scope.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Minimum of 3 years of related coordination experience within the electrical / IT construction industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Building Automation, Structured Cabling, AV Systems, Security, Access Control and/or CCTV Systems, with experience in Nurse Call Systems considered an asset.
- Experience in Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS) and/or Integration Systems (ESB) is considered an asset.
- Salary: $60,000+
- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma as Electrical Technician/Electrical Technologist, or Journeyman Electrician License is an asset.
- Knowledge of Accubid software and/or Estimating experience is considered an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, or working towards it, or an equivalent certification is considered an asset.
