We're currently seeking a Senior Application Engineer to help shape the future of smart buildings by designing and implementing creative solutions that demonstrate the power of DIBT's technologies in real-world applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrated product solutions, working closely with Product Management and Development teams.
- Lead beta testing initiatives at customer sites to validate performance and usability.
- Manage application engineering projects and contracts, including technical documentation and timelines.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for integration.
- Support integration of third-party hardware and software with Delta IBT systems.
- Mentor and support junior engineers on technical initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in building controls and product applications.
Job Requirements
- 5–7 years of industry experience in building automation, controls, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Integrated Engineering, or a technical diploma in a related discipline.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of leading engineering projects from concept through execution.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with Delta IBT systems (e.g., Node-RED, Python, GCL+).
- Familiarity with IoT technologies, sensors, and wireless systems.
- Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or ASHRAE Guideline 36.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or a quality-controlled technical environment.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
- Understanding of sustainable building standards and practices.

Salary: $88,000 - $116,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
