About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud architecture to lead and coordinate cloud-native projects from inception to delivery. You'll act as the bridge between engineering teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring that cloud-based solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with technical and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage cloud-native development projects, emphasizing cloud stacks (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions).

  • Technical Oversight: Collaborate with architects and developers to define scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate meetings, updates, and technical discussions with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams.

  • Agile Process Management: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming using tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks or blockers and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Resource Coordination: Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure appropriate staffing and skill alignment for project success.

  • Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation, architecture diagrams, and release notes.

Required Qualifications
  • 35+ years of experience in technical project management roles.

  • Strong understanding of AWS services, especially cloud-native tools and architecture patterns.

  • Proven experience managing cloud-native application development projects.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Serverless Framework.

  • Solid grasp of modern software development life cycles (CI/CD, GitOps, DevSecOps).

  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).

  • Background in software engineering or DevOps.

  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic).
