Our team is expanding and looking to hire an Industrial Engineer. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
The Industrial Engineer position is responsible for assisting with process planning in establishing standardized templates for rapid planning and conducting cycle time calculations, capacity analysis, and production line layout planning for process planning. Other responsibilities include:
Support and Review of IE Functions in Project Process Planning
- Responsible for the layout and logistics planning of new plant LAYOUTs.
- Responsible for the planning of new product logistics trolleys.
- System integration and application for the construction of digital smart factories.
Establishment of Standardized Documentation
- Establishment of standardized motion time documents.
- Development of production standard work hours.
- Compilation and management of core process standard documents.
- Maintenance and problem-solving of master data systems.
- Standardization and normalization of various product production line layouts.
Training and Improvement Support
- Responsible for interfaces and maintenance of IT software and system processes related to process planning.
- Participate in the factory's project improvement processes.
- Conduct IE knowledge training, with proficiency in the seven major IE techniques and related TPS knowledge.
- Train PTE personnel on how to create standardized documents such as standard work tickets.
- Collect and organize relevant standardized forms within the group and issue them in a standardized manner.
Assist in Process Planning for Production Line or Tooling Improvement Projects
Complete Other Relevant Tasks Assigned by Superiors
To be a qualified candidate, you must meet the following:
- Bachelor's degree or above in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
- Over six years of IE work experience, familiar with improvement techniques such as TPS, LEAN, and IE; familiar with VSD and production system design.
- Proficient in using design software such as Auto CAD.
Key to being successful in this role:
- Proficient in mechanical drafting and basic knowledge of mechanical design, understanding of machining processes, assembly processes, and product quality characteristics.
- Understanding of domestic and international technology development directions, basic electrical knowledge, and basic hydraulic knowledge.
- Good communication skills, problem analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
