An integral part of the Finance team, this role is responsible for providing critical insights through financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis to support data-driven decision-making and drive financial performance. Key Outcomes of the Position

• Support the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) process, including consolidation and reporting
• Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
• Prepare and report on daily KPIs
• Assist the Controller with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Assist the Controller with external reporting and schedules.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Monitor daily cash balances with the payment processor. Perform market research, gather and analyze industry trends and perform competitive analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the stakeholders.
• Analyze and support marketing and product strategies (ROI, Payback, etc. on marketing and product investments), and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reports.
• Stay updated on financial trends, accounting regulations and economic developments.
• Contributesto a work environment that promotes teamwork and mutual respect.
• Continually assist to identify process improvements and recommend solutions.
• Assist the Finance Leaders by conducting ad-hoc analysis to support senior management decisions as and when needed
• Actively participate in special project assignments and team building activities.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 2-5 years experience in financial analysis, management reporting, FP&A or related role.
• High proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis
• Advanced excel skills, fluency in Excel formulas & function, ability to manipulate data and present in a user-friendly format.
• Familiarity with data query/data management tools is preferable (SQL, Business Objects)
• Ability to streamline functions
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
• Proficient in time management. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize workload to meet assigned deadlines under pressure.
• Good interpersonal & relationship building skills, ability to work with all levels of management
• Excellent Communication Skills written and verbal.
• Passion to learn and grow
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from accredited four-year college or university.
• Public Company experience is preferred.
• Attained CPA or similar certification or is in progress.
• Gaming industry experience is an asset
