Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new business opportunities
- Strategically develop, schedule and execute sales strategies
- Keep management informed of competitive environment and market conditions
- Complete accurate call reports, weekly work plans and territory analysis
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, visiting key vendors and attending appropriate trade shows
- Contribute to team effort by doing other duties as required
- Bachelor or college degree preferred or 3 - 5 years minimum outside sales experience
- B2B sales experience in electrical, plumbing or refrigeration a real asset
- Consultative selling skills, exceptional business development aptitude
- Relationship-based sales style with strong questioning skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a solid customer service focus
- Highly evolved time management skills and a good sense of urgency
- Highly motivated self-starter with a great sense of humour
- Some travel required in Western Canada
