We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team! You will Inspect, install and repair Fire Alarm wiring and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Install and program new alarm and security systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
• Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
• Annual / Monthly / Quarterly Fire Alarm Inspections
• Estimating for Deficiencies noted on Annual / Semi Inspections
• Updating/ Creating Fire Alarm Reports for Certificates after completed Inspections
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
• Blue Print reading
• Conduct Fire Drills
• Customer Service / On site meetings with Clients ( when requested )
• Monitor inventory of service parts

Qualifications:

• CFAA Certification a Must
• Min 5 to 10 yrs experience in Fire Safety or related industry is preferred
• Experience with CO2 Suppressions Systems / Kitchen Suppressions/ Clean agents & other Specialty Systems is preferred
• Valid Ontario Drivers License with clean driving record
• 24hr Availability for on call rotation
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent Communication skills
• Computer skills
