Our client, a prominent leader in the insurance brokerage industry, is looking for an Auditor!

This is hybrid role, 2 days/week on-site, downtown Toronto.

This is a 32 hour work week. Excellent benefits and exciting PERKS as well!

Here are a few responsibilities:
- Conduct risk-based audits and spot checks, adhering to company standards.
- Analyze brokerage data to determine audit modules, gather financial records, and identify compliance issues.
- Interview brokerage staff to address concerns and suggest improvements.
- Escalate high-risk issues and review areas like Position Reports and trust shortages.
- Provide feedback on processes and engage in improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to have:
At least two of the following:

  • Accounting designation (CA, CPA, CGA), with 3-5 years' experience dealing with brokerage operations and financial records
  • Bookkeeper with 7-10 years of experience dealing with brokerage operations and financial records
  • Licensed broker with experience dealing with brokerage operations and financial records
  • Experience conducting financial and operational audits for a regulatory body
  • Experience in P&C insurance

PLUS:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

**French language skills are a plus, but not required***
