Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in North York, ON. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Troubleshooting of the client at the customer site to ensure their availability.
  • Provide technical expertise to subcontractors, the warranty support team, project team members, and less experienced personnel.
  • Implement modifications to the rolling stock units to enhance their reliability.
  • Carry out Troubleshooting during the PI period, Testing and commissioning, Warranty (and Validation and certification, if applicable), and investigation and repair.
  • Carry out Fleet check activities.
  • Reports and registers any deviation (failure/event) in the Failure Management database, including configuration data.
  • Apply & enforce client & customer EHS & security rules and relevant PI processes on the customer site.
  • Execute test & troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance and perform failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair.
  • Support specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external Suppliers.
  • Recommends preventative and corrective actions.
  • Implementing retrofits according to the file, following state-of-the-art and best practices.
  • Ensure validity and certification of relevant tools.
  • Populate the relevant modification follow-up database.
  • Guarantee information flow within the PI team.
  • Perform quality self-control.
  • Contribute to Return of Experience.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract (6 months).

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT(information technology).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing (mechanical or electrical/electronic).
  • Minimum 2 years of Field Experience.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Certified Technician.
  • Internal EHS training.
  • EHS knowledge and exposure.
  • Product knowledge.
