Legal Administrative Assistant - Corporate
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000. Willing to consider candidates with a combination of training and experience.
Our established downtown Vancouver client is currentlyseeking aLegal Administrative Assistantforthe Corporate group.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Performing a variety of law office functions which include: transcribing, formatting, typing, editing and blacklining a variety of correspondence and other material requiring judgment as to content, accuracy, and completeness
  • Managing lawyers email inboxes and calendars booking appointments, setting up conference calls, monitoring email inbox and responding as required, and e-filing emails
  • Liaise with Paralegals regarding corporate documents
  • Entering and closing time dockets in Intapp
  • Updating client information in InterAction and updating lawyer profiles
  • Arranging travel including car rentals, flights, hotels and conference registrations
  • Entering and monitoring lawyers Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours
  • Preparing monthly accounts client billing
  • Maintaining a good BF system
  • Maintaining and keeping all filing current and up to date
  • Other various administrative tasks, as required
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, preferably in a medium to large Firm environment
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately
  • Superior organization skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work with and maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive, privileged confidential communications
  • Strong team player with the ability to work as a contributing member of a team or independently
  • Reliable, responsible, self-motivated and able to take initiative or be proactive where appropriate
  • Professional, mature, positive and can-do attitude
