Key Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a block of group benefits clients across multiple Account Executives (AEs), providing end-to-end service and support.
- Client Experience: Act as the primary point of contact, resolving claims issues, coordinating benefit transfers, and proactively ensuring client satisfaction.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with AEs to ensure seamless communication and delivery of service.
- Plan Implementation: Manage the set-up and documentation of new plans and changes, liaising directly with insurers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Industry Engagement: Stay informed on trends, attend workshops/conferences, and provide feedback to help enhance service delivery.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a group benefits service advisor role. Experience with municipal clients is a strong asset.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Education: A university or college degree is an asset.
- Mindset: Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of client relationships.
- Location: Mississauga (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days per week in office)
- Compensation: Competitive base salary plus discretionary bonus (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Full benefits from day one, with pension eligibility after one year (3% matched at 4%)
- Vacation: Negotiable based on experience (typically 2–4 weeks)
