The Opportunity
We're searching for a strategic and hands-on VP of Finance / Controller to lead and elevate our finance function. You'll take charge of financial operations across multiple entities, driving process improvements, ensuring robust financial controls, and providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making. This role is ideal for a dynamic finance leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves when needed.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all financial operations across our group of companies, ensuring accurate, timely reporting, budgeting, and cash management
- Lead a talented finance team, mentoring and developing them to support our growth ambitions
- Partner with senior leadership to shape company strategy, drive profitability, and make sound financial decisions
- Implement best-in-class financial controls, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation while maintaining our close-knit, family-run ethos
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, with a strong background in construction, design-build, or project-based industries
- Expertise in job costing, project accounting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver both strategic direction and hands-on execution
- A collaborative, relationship-driven approach and a passion for developing people
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and an aptitude for enhancing ERP/accounting systems

- Competitive compensation package: $175,000–$200,000 annual salary + discretionary bonus + 50% co-pay benefits
