We're hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and scale our marketing efforts across brand, growth, and community. You'll define strategy, execute campaigns, and help build a passionate user base that believes in the power of smart debate. This is a high-ownership role where your creativity, analytical skills, and leadership will directly influence our growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Own brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling for The Debate Network
- Launch and manage content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and partnerships
- Collaborate with product and design teams to align messaging across the platform
- Define KPIs, analyze marketing performance, and optimize based on data
- Lead community-building initiatives to activate and support power users
- Manage marketing tools, budgets, and potentially grow a small team over time
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior or strategic role
- Proven track record of building and growing a digital brand or online platform
- Strong skills in content strategy, copywriting, and digital campaign execution
- Experience with performance marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, SEO)
- Data-driven mindset with comfort using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
- Passion for thoughtful discourse, civic engagement, or mission-driven products is a strong plus
- Experience marketing consumer-facing platforms, apps, or online communities
- Familiarity with no-code tools, marketing automation, or basic HTML/CSS
- Background in debate, education, media, or thought leadership
