Are you a detail-driven Designer/Estimator with a passion for precision and experience in high-end stone fabrication? Our client, a leading custom countertop manufacturer, is expanding and looking for a Senior Designer/ Estimator to join their growing team.
With a brand-new 13,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with the latest fabrication technology—including dual bridge saws, CNC work centers, and a line polisher—this is a company committed to quality, innovation, and craftsmanship. Serving the custom residential, multi-family, and commercial markets, they deliver full-service fabrication and installation, all in-house.
About the Role:
As the Senior Designer/Estimator, you'll play a vital role in driving business success by producing detailed, competitive, and accurate cost estimates for stone countertop and backsplash projects. You'll collaborate closely with designers, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure each proposal meets project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
This role demands strong technical skills in AutoCAD and Bluebeam, along with deep knowledge of stone fabrication and installation practices.
What You'll Do:

• Conduct accurate and detailed take-offs using AutoCAD and Bluebeam from architectural drawings.
• Estimate material, labor, and install costs for custom and production stone projects.
• Prepare and submit bids and formal proposals for both residential and commercial clients.
• Verify material pricing with suppliers and monitor cost fluctuations.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and production to ensure bid accuracy and feasibility.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, fabrication techniques, and new products.
• Ensure all estimates align with project timelines, client expectations, and production capacity.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in estimating within the stone fabrication, millwork, or construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam is a must.
• Strong understanding of countertop fabrication techniques (e.g., mitered edges, waterfall ends, sink cutouts).
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and bid packages.
• Clear, professional communication skills to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must have current Work Visa or Permanent Residency
