Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Frontend Engineer - DeFi - this is a fully remote role and candidates need to be based in the West Coast timezone to Eastern Europe timezone.

We're revolutionizing finance with a fractional-reserve stablecoin, unlocking levels of capital efficiency that have historically only been accessible to banks. We previously closed our pre-seed fundraise and nearing the MVP launch of the product. We aim to realize the visions of Satoshi and DeFi alike, making banks obsolete through fundamental improvements to capital efficiency. As part of our team, you'll be building a decentralized financial system that automates the banking process and maximizes returns by collapsing the inefficiencies of traditional banks. We seek a highly skilled frontend developer to bring our designs to reality.

You'll be working with your technical team to take design concepts and mockups, converting them to handsome, functional webpages. You're expected to take the initiative on offering feedback to the design, and we'll be looking for you to bring the latest in design trends and implementation methodologies to our venture. Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and launch the marketing site with our Head of Marketing

• Architect, develop, and launch the dApp with our developer team

• Maintain and improve the current dApp and marketing site

• Ensure system stability, security, and user experience

• Optimize performance (CPU/memory usage)

• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code

• Troubleshoot and debug issues

• Stay updated with trends and tech, perform R&D

• Provide feedback on user stories

• Develop and maintain unit tests

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years with JS frameworks like React or Svelte

• 4+ years with HTML/CSS

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar libraries

• Proficiency in TypeScript

• Skilled at turning Figma designs into responsive web pages

• Experience solving mobile compatibility issues

• Agile development experience

• Strong debugging/problem-solving skills

• Bonus: Blockchain/Ethereum experience

• Strong interest in crypto; DeFi preferred
