Our established Wealth Management firm in North York seeks a highly motivated Wealth Management Associate to join a dynamic team. You'll work closely with Senior Portfolio Managers, playing a key role in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Portfolio Managers to prepare for client meetings and ensure seamless client interaction.
  • Gather and analyze client data related to KYC (Know Your Client), financial planning, and account updates.
  • Craft client-specific reports and presentations, keeping communication clear and concise.
  • Conduct research and complete assigned analysis projects to support informed investment decisions.
  • Assist with trading execution when required.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, acting as their first point of contact and ambassador.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage day-to-day client account administration with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support tax preparation efforts (February-April) by inputting client data into tax systems under the guidance of the in-house accountant.

Who You Are:

  • A results-oriented professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the investment industry (preferred).
  • Possess the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Canadian Investment Planning Course (CPH) designations, or actively pursuing them.
  • Passionate about building rapport and fostering positive client relationships.
  • An exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Thrive in a detail-oriented environment and possess a knack for problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software (a plus).
