Architectural Technologist & Rep

We are well respected in North America's residential and commercial building markets as a trusted supplier of premium stone and are also valued for our technical support services. We are seeking an energetic individual with strong building science knowledge and technical abilities, plus proven client-facing skills.

The Architectural Technologist & Rep works closely with the Sales department and directly with customers, including architects, engineers, and installers, to ensure proper detailing and installation of Arriscraft's various stone cladding systems. This role also requires producing takeoffs and shop drawings for building projects throughout North America. As a detail-oriented individual, they will also assist in developing and maintaining Arriscraft's technical library which includes, product data sheets, guideline specifications, and CAD/BIM details.

This is an on-site position, with offices in Burlington and Cambridge.

Requirements:

- Demonstrable building science knowledge (North American market)

- Degree or diploma in an architectural science or studies program, such as Architect, Architectural Technology, Architectural Engineering, or Building Science

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM

- Knowledge of different cladding systems and building envelopes

- Understanding of moisture movement from all aspects (e.g., wind driven, capillary, dew point)

- Proven (real life) experience in architectural detailing

- Strong verbal and written communications skills (English, French would be an asset)

- Willingness to travel (U.S. and Canada)

Preferred Assets:

- 5 years construction/architectural experience

- Experience in masonry and stone detailing or construction

- Sales and/or customer service experience
