Overview:
A well-established construction management firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) construction projects in the Hamilton area. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of successfully managing local projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong grasp of budgets, schedules, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of ICI construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Lead project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and municipal authorities to ensure project requirements and standards are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Monitor financial performance and manage project documentation, including change orders and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience in the local ICI construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and local building codes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- PMP or Gold Seal certification is an asset.
