Hourly Rate: $37.50 - $42.75


Please note: This position is based in Valleyview, Alberta. Candidates must be able to commute or relocate to Valleyview.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll be an integral part of our care team, delivering skilled nursing support and helping residents live with comfort and dignity:

  • Provide direct nursing care such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and completing treatments
  • Assess and monitor residents with complex health needs
  • Lead and guide Health Care Aides in delivering high-quality care
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external care providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safe, evidence-informed care
  • Support residents and families in understanding care procedures and treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality
  • Practice within full scope as defined by CLPNA standards and facility policies

What You Bring

  • A diploma from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program
  • Active, unrestricted registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current CPR/BCLS certification for healthcare providers
  • Experience in seniors care or gerontology is an asset
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • A strong commitment to person-centered care and teamwork
  • Critical thinking, sound judgment, and a compassionate, professional presence
